Staff is friendly when not super busy , and always willing to help you locate the smallest and most rare type of hardware, I had to browse the entire store , to see all the other items they carry , good prices on most items, if it is specialized hardware good chance they have , its not open on weekends so plan your projects accordingly :) Pro Tip: have your phone handy and take pics of the item #’s you are purchasing and check out at the register will be fast :)

If you are needing anything hardware related that you can't find anywhere else there's a very good chance Marshalls will have it. My recent need was a small tap to clean some threads on a firearm after checking a half dozen places closer to me with no luck I called them before ordering one online and as usual they had the item I needed. Even if it's a bit of a drive to go there as it is with me I highly recommend checking with them when you are looking for that elusive item you will be amazed by what they have.

This is the place to go to find the bits and pieces that you just can't find anywhere else, other than maybe online. The prices are a tad on the high side but then again what's your time worth? Either make it your first stop or your last. Good coverage of both domestic and metric sizes. Just go in and wander around some and be amazed that this resource is in Salt Lake.

The employees at this place are some the rudest, arrogant, unhelpful people I have ever met. I have met one employee there that was nice and helpful, the rest couldn't care less about customer service. I do my best to try and talk to the one guy there that is actually helpful and friendly. Even then I've been talking to him and had another employee come up and cut off our conversation because he thought he was more important. Another time I went in around closing time, but there was still about 10-15 minutes left. Before I even finished asking my question about some fasteners I was looking for (that I knew they would have to order in), the employee cut me off and said "It's close to closing time so I'm not going to go out on the floor and help you find anything." I brushed past that and trying to ignore it, but the rest of the time he was talking to me about the fasteners I was trying to get ordered he talked to me like he was annoyed I was trying to buy parts. Another time, I ordered in some parts they didn't have in stock and they turned out to be wrong once they came in. I asked about returns and the employee said "We don't do returns on special orders" to which I responded "From my understanding, these weren't special order, they were just ones you didn't have in stock at the time. Is that not the case?" and he responded "I'm going to reiterate what I just said. We. Don't. Do. Returns. On. Special. Orders" Aside from the one helpful and friendly employee, the overall impression I get from this place is very negative.

Went into the store today, and my bookbag was immediately confiscated. Then, to top it off as I walk arou1¹nd I'm followed extremely closely by an employee as if they don't have cameras or something completely profiling me, and i felt extremely discriminated against. I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. Them not knowing I had $600 cash in my pocket, and my main interest was buying some calipers and some machining equipment. Also, the company that I work for. Conducts business with them infrequently, but when they do, they typically spend upwards of $2000 give or take $1000 probly by monthly. Being management and a huge influence on company decisions. I am putting a stop at our business with Marshall Industrial Supply. Keep up the good work, Marshall, treating innocent people as criminals as you discriminated, and profiled me.
